The Load Environment (LE) enables you to integrate with Txtwire smpp system in a controlled, test environment. Using the LE you can test your applications against various conditions that might occur in production without actually performing live transactions. You can use the same codes in the LE that you intend to use in production.

The LE comprises the same software as the Txtwire production platform, but for test purposes it uses artificial data and simulators. In this way the LE performs the same validation and processing logic on each transaction as it would in production. The simulators create the conditions you will experience when running production traffic.

Constraints to be aware of when using the LE

• You use the LE to test mobile-terminated (MT) messages, but not mobile-originated (MO) messages.
• Limited Reporting is supported in the LE and are frequently rolled.

Supported operators

The LE simulates delivery of messages to mobile networks. Because interaction with the mobile operator is simulated, you will not see messages delivered to a target device.

Prerequisites

To test your applications against any of the Txtwire services available in the LE you must have an Txtwire account that’s provisioned to use the LE. To request LE provisioning for your account, contact your account manager.

General rules

Use the provided account ID and password you use when submitting messages in LE. They will be different than production. Use the assigned codes.
